Meet the Ambassador


This buffet style luncheon will give the attendees the opportunity to talk to the Ambassador of the Netherlands Mr. Jacques van Hellenberg Hubar, the Consul General of the Netherlands Mr. Joop Corijn, the incoming Counselor of Economic and Commercials Affairs Mr. Dick Knook and the outgoing Counselor of Economic and Commercials Affairs Mr. Ruud Wagenaar.

Business Etiquette Dinner

This is the ultimate chance to brush up your etiquette knowledge relating to business and dinners! Enjoy a lovely meal and update some of your skills. Taylor Hughes & Yoka ter Kuile from 'Etiquette for Success', will be bringing you into the new millennium with the latest information on “what is hot and what is not”  on the social scene. Please join us with a partner for a lot of useful information and fun!

Luncheon Oil & Gas Trusts


 

Due to enthusiastic reactions after our last luncheon about Oilsands, we stick to the topic one more time. Speaker will be Frederick Kozak, who is an energy trust analyst with First Associates and one of their top analysts in that particular field. He will answer some of your questions regarding how safe it is to invest in these trusts. Please join us!

Frederick has a broad range of experience in the energy sector with 5 years as an oil and gas analyst and over 15 years of industry experience. His experience has encompassed responsibilities as a Senior Production Engineer at Petro Canada, as a Corporate Planner at ATCOR Resources and as a Financial Analyst at Ranger Oil.
His petroleum engineering experience and his expertise in economic/financial analysis allow Frederick to evaluate ENERGY TRUSTS using an approach based on fundamental analysis.

Indonesian Dinner

Our annual Indonesian Dinner has been planned for April 3, 2004. Come and enjoy authentic Indonesian food in part prepared by some of our members and for the other part by Restaurant Indonesia.

Queens Day Celebration

Organized in collaboration with the Dutch Consulate and the Dutch Canadian Club (DCC)

A festive dinner in the Danish Club will mark the birthday celebration of Queen Beatrix.

Also, a film about the life of Princess Juliana will be shown that night.

Please get your tickets through the Dutch Consulate in Calgary. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Memorial Service May 4, 2004

To commemorate the Dutch casualties of the Second World War, the Consulate of the Netherlands likes to invite you to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday May 4, which will take place at the War graves of three Dutch Pilots. After a short ceremony we will go to the Jewish Cemetry on 30 Avenue and Erlton Road SE.

Mastering the Media Luncheon   **** ATTENTION!  POSTPONED TO MAY 19!


How to be at your best when dealing with the news media is the subject of
Jon Lovink's lunchtime talk. Jon runs MASTERING THE MEDIA Training Seminars
across Canada. These seminars build individual skill and confidence in
managing the agenda in an encounter with the news media.

In his talk Jon will touch on some key points on how to manage interviews
how to get your message across, as well as some key performance tips.
