Project Director - Sian de Vries
Sian was born in Leiden, the Netherlands. She received a law degree from the Rijks Universiteit Leiden and practiced law for seven years in The Hague before moving abroad. Since then, Sian has lived in Montreal, Brussels, Bucharest and Madrid before moving to Calgary, eight years ago. She has been a member of the DCBC since 2010. Currently, Sian is working at the Dutch Consulate in Calgary while also pursuing a bachelor in fine arts at the Alberta College of Art and Design. She enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking and running, as well as spending time with her two children.
